LOCAL NOTICE TO MARINERS

No. 17 of 2022 – WASZP Sailing Regatta Exclusion Zone, Cardiff Bay 20th and 21st August 2022

On Saturday 20th August 2022 there will be an exclusion zone in Cardiff Bay from 1300 to 1700 (see attached plan). This exclusion zone will be policed by Harbour Patrol vessels and race management boats.

On Sunday 21st August 2022 there will be an exclusion zone in Cardiff Bay from 1100 to 1500 (see attached plan). This exclusion zone will be policed by Harbour Patrol vessels and race management boats.

Non race vessels will be required to navigate around the outside of the exclusion zone during the above times when racing is underway.

The exclusion zone will be left in place overnight Saturday and removed on Sunday following the end of racing.

Mariners are reminded that CCTV is in operation at the Barrage for operational and health and safety reasons. All CCTV images and VHF transmissions are recorded.
